BEVERLY LYNN IRVING

October 17, 1970 – October 15, 2016

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece and friend. Beverly was an extremely proud mother to both of her sons and her fur-babies. She very much enjoyed cooking for her boys and spending quality time with them. She loved to sing, karaoke was one of her favorite hobbies. She loved going on road trips, movie nights with family, having her kiddies over for sleepovers, face-booking and shopping (she was very successful at couponing). Beverly had a knack for ensuring everyone around her was smiling or laughing hysterically at one of her many jokes, pranks or just at her overall silly personality. Beverly will be remembered by many as a motivator and inspiration as she created an “Our Journey to Lose Weight Loss Group” on Facebook a few years back. Through this she was able to touch even more lives and share her love and laughter with new and old friends. Beverly’s loving and sparkling personality will be greatly missed by her sons, Jeremy and Shelwin Irving, her mother, Emma Durston, her brothers, George Irving, Darwin Durston and his son Jaxson, Bruce (Karen) Irving and their children Kirk, Leland and Kelsey, her sister, Shelley (Norman) Foster and their son Kane, her nephew, Peter (Marissa) Irving and their son Dion, her special auntie, Valerie (Don) Robbie, and her best friend, Kelly Carriere, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her father, George Irving, her sister, Donna Irving, her grandparents, William & Nora Irving and Thomas & Stella (nee Durston) Fidler, and the father of her sons, Curtis Lafond. Beverly’s funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 21, 2016, at River Park Memorial Chapel, Pastor Tony Thompson officiating. Interment to follow at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of River Park Memorial Chapel, Don Moriarty, Funeral Director.
