Sylvestre – Beverli Carol Jacqueline (nee Ruszkowski) late of Prince Albert. It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of our beloved wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, niece, auntie, cousin and friend. Bev passed away peacefully at the age of 62 at the Victoria Hospital after a lengthy courageous and dignified battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She was surrounded by family and friends. Bev was born October 23, 1947 in Prince Albert. She received her diploma in Diagnostic Imaging in Saskatoon in 1967. Bev began her career in Estevan, where she met the love of her life, and husband, Henry Sylvestre of 41 years. They relocated to Prince Albert where she worked at the Community Clinic and Victoria Hospital, until her early retirement due to illness. Bev’s life revolved around her family. She spent her time cooking, baking and organizing road trips, and attending her children’s, and later, grandchildren’s many activities. She enjoyed solving the world’s problems, and sharing jokes and laughs with family and friends, whether over coffee at Robins and Tim’s, or a game of cards. Summers were spent at her parent’s cabin at Emma Lake. There was never a dull moment with Bev around. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Henry Sylvestre; her mother Delphine Ruszkowski of Prince Albert; her daughters Toddy (Ian) Sylvestre-Dallow of Edmonton, AB and Laurel (Troy) Hufnagel of Prince Albert; her six precious grandchildren Kyle Dallow, Karli, Mackenzie, Kade, Jackson and Gillian Hufnagel; her sister Darlene Rawlinson of Prince Albert; special niece Audra Rawlinson (Clinton Ford) of Calgary, AB; special nephew Tylor Rawlinson of Prince Albert; her brothers and sisters-in-law Alphada and Mike Stefiuk of Kelowna, BC, Adel and Louis Belanger of Estevan, SK, Delores Amos of Estevan, SK and Harvey and Joan Sylvester of Sherwood Park, AB; plus numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and caregivers. Beverli was predeceased by her father Jacob John Ruszkowski; an infant daughter Renee; grandparents William and Elsie Campbell, Frank Sr. and Mary Ruszkowski and brother-in-law Roy Amos. Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 with Sister Therese St. Pierre and Sister Suzanne Papin officiating. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 with celebrant Reverend Father Matthew Nguyen. Both services will be held at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 260 – 25th Street East, Prince Albert, SK. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society, Saskatchewan Division, 150 Albert Street, Regina, SK S4R 9Z9.
