It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our mom Beulah Parenteau on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at the age of 70. Beulah was born February 8, 1951 in Duck Lake to parents Marius and Evelyn Piche. She left school at age 16 to pursue her love of hairdressing in Prince Albert. She moved a couple times, going to BC and Alberta, but finally returned to Duck Lake. In 1972, she married Wallace, her husband of 48 years. Throughout the years they moved a few times, living in Duck Lake, Martensville, Saskatoon, and Bradford, Ontario. Beulah worked many years at Tim Hortons as a manager where she is fondly remembered as a great boss and person to work for. In her earlier years, Beulah loved to play slo-pitch, go camping and fishing, play cards, and spend good times with friends. Once retired, Beulah and Wallace moved to Prince Albert in 2015. They lived two doors down from her aunt Phyllis and they spent many hours visiting and playing cards. Beulah’s favorite thing to do and true passion was her family. She was the greatest “Memere” and her life was devoted to her children and grandchildren, and she was always the happiest when she was surrounded by them.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Wallace Parenteau, son Trent (Charlene) and their children Baley, Cale, Jase, and Presley; son Clayton (Stephanie) and their children Kristi, Abby, Hailey, and Riley along with their first great-grandchild Kason; and son Quenton (Ashley) and their sons Owen and Ethan; and her grandsons in Ontario Jordan and Jamie. She is survived by brothers/sisters-in-laws Leon Parenteau(Marilyn), Ervin Parenteau (Eva), Hazel Parenteau, Georgette Nicolas (Danny), Eddy Parenteau (Sandy), Freddy Parenteau, and Sharon Windels (Ivan), and their families, as well  as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Beulah was pre-deceased by her parents Marius and Evelyn Piche, in-laws George and Claudine Parenteau, brother Lenny Piche, brother-in-laws Kenneth and Denis Parenteau, sister-in-law Cecilia Parenteau, nephews Levi Nicolas and Trevor Parenteau, and niece Miranda Parenteau.

A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date in St. Laurent.
