Betty Lou Custer ““Patty Lou” “Momma Bear” was born on May 31, 1964, in Pelican Narrows, SK, and passed away on February 26, 2025, in Flin Flon, MB, at the age of 60 years.

Betty Lou is survived by her loving family, her companion, Hilliard Ballantyne; her children, Wayne, John, Jordan, Emily; her daughter, Laurel Custer; her children of whom she helped raise, Howard, Rosie, Vicki, David, Wade Custer; her Wasak neighbours of many years, Bradley, Liza, Stella (Balloon); her special nephew, Phillipoo Custer; her Goddaughter, Margaret Custer; her special brothers, Angus Custer, Peter Custer; her brother-in-law, Elias (Jane); her sisters-in-law, Emily, Leona, Susan, Jessie, Victoria; numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents, Cora & Roderick Custer; her sisters, Sheila, Mary, Rebecca, Inez, Janet, Jean; her brothers, “Jimmy Boy”, Ettienne, Tony, Randy, Emile, Antwann, Samual; numerous aunties, uncles, cousins and friends.

The Prayer Service for Betty Lou will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at River Park Funeral Home, in Prince Albert, SK, with Rev. Elias Ballantyne officiating. The Wake Services will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025, and Friday, March 21, 2025, at the Pelican Narrows Band Hall. The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at the Pelican Narrows Band Hall Rev. Elias Ballantyne officiating. Interment to follow at Moise Bear Memorial Gardens, in Pelican Narrows, SK. The Custer family would like to apologize for the delay, and thank everyone for their patience and support.
