Betsy Mary Charlotte Daigneault (nee Bird) was born on Monday, August 25, 1969, in La Ronge, Saskatchewan, and passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2015, in La Ronge, Saskatchewan, at the age of 46 years. Betsy is survived by her loving family, her children, Fawn (BJ Ross) and their children, Benjamin, Felicity and Nevaeh, Jordan Daigneault, Carlos Star and Brettner Star, her mother, Sally Bird, the father of Fawn and Jordan, Elmer Daigneault, her sisters, Virginia Roberts and her children,          Jennifer (Sheldon), Tayven (Shannon), Teron and Kristen (Wayne), and Stella Bird (John Loader) and their children, Demrien, Shane and Shawna, her brothers, John (Marie) Bird and his son, William Roberts, and Rene (Theresa) Bird and his children, Melissa (Brendan) and Bobby, her niece, Telsa McKenzie, her nephew, Kevin McKenzie, and her aunt, Annie Halkett, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her companion, Bradley Star, her father, Absolom Bird, her brothers, James Bird and Thompson Steven Bird (in infancy), her brother-in-law, Amos Roberts, her grandparents, John and Betsy Bird and Walter and Charlotte Halkett, and her uncles and aunts, Julius Bird, Julius Halkett, Sandy Bird, Mary McKenzie, Silas McKenzie, Alice Moberly, Grace McKenzie, Isaac McKenzie,                  Jeptha Halkett, Stephen Halkett, Demar Hastings, Jean Halkett, Henry Halkett and Maggie Ross. A wake service will be held at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, January 7, 2016, at Kitsaki Hall in La Ronge, SK. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 8, 2016, at the All Saints Anglican Church in La Ronge, SK, Reverend Richard Custer officiating. Interment will follow at the Anglican Church Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to River Park Memorial Chapel, Prince Albert, SK, Don Moriarty, funeral director, and Lac La Ronge Funeral Home, Debra Klassen, funeral director.
