St. Amand – Bernice Marvel St. Amand of Prince Albert, SK passed away suddenly on March 19, 2012. Bernice was born May 17, 1937 in Prince Albert, SK. She loved spending her days with Henry and her very special boys Noah and Logan. Bernice's family meant the world to her. She was not afraid to speak her mind, especially when it came to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bernice's dry sense of humour will be cherished and missed by her family. Mom was a wonderful cook and her gravy will be greatly missed at family gatherings. Mom will be missed by all that knew and loved her. Bernice is survived by her loving husband Henry St. Amand; her son Don LaSalle and his children Dawn Gullickson, Jackie Gullickson and Kristan Willis (Cam); her daughter Val LaSalle and her children Alicia Featherstone (Tyler), Christopher Basaraba, Jessica Basaraba (Dale), Adam Basaraba and Drew Basaraba; her great grandchildren Brandon, Chastity, Gabrielle, Skylar, Dante, Madison, Sara, Megan, Liam, Noah, Logan, Lucas and Robbie; numerous nieces and nephews and 7 stepchildren. She was predeceased by her son Ronald LaSalle; the father of her children Wilfred LaSalle; her grandsons Duane Gullickson and Tyrel LaSalle; her parents Colin and Emma Anderson; her siblings Lillian Gunville, Lawrence Anderson, Yvonne Anderson, Marlene Pilon; niece Shelley Isbister and great nephew Zachary Anderson. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 23, 2012 at Gray's Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK with Celebrant Val Bodnaryk. Interment will be held at South Hill Cemetery. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to Canadian Diabetes Association, PO Box 26331, Stn BRM B, Toronto, ON M7Y 4R1.
