Benedict Stephen "Dick" Schulte

Benedict Stephen “Dick” Schulte was born on the family farm to parents Mathias and Mary Schulte on August 3, 1939. He was the 7th of 10 children. He passed away at Melfort, SK on June 4, 2013 at the age of 73 years.
Dick attended school at Marysburg School. In the late 1950’s he went to Ocean Falls, BC to work. He spent his time working at interior logging. He returned home to the farm in the late 1960’s. During this time he operated a Caterpillar brush cutting and farming. Throughout the years he also did some work on the oil rigs.
Dick liked to fish and hunt. He enjoyed time at the cabin NE of Hudson Bay. He was a very sharp card player; and was quick to point out when you made a mistake.
He is survived by his brothers Henry (Theresa), Joe (Dorothy), Wilfred, Leo, Greg; sister Mary Lou (Phil) Guindon; sisters-in-law Betty Schulte and Bernice Schulte as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Dick was predeceased by his parents Mathias and Mary, brothers John and wife June Schulte, Matt Schulte and George Schulte and sister-in-law Viola.
