Ben Wareham 1942 – 2025
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, brother, uncle, and most importantly, our Grandpa.
Ben was born April 17, 1942, in Prince Albert to parents Bill and Kay Wareham. He grew up in Prince Albert where he met his soulmate, Gloriana. They exchanged vows in 1962 and shared 56 wonderful years together, welcoming three children.
Ben dedicated his life to his family and especially his grandchildren. He was Prince Albert’s biggest fan for almost any sport, and was a staple at every Raider game, having season tickets since 1971. He spent countless hours driving grandkids to rinks and watching them play. He volunteered for many sporting events and was always helping out with community events.
He was an accomplished businessman. His biggest success was opening TBS Collision with his partner, Don McWilliams. Ben enjoyed many years serving the community with integrity and class until his retirement.
Ben will be lovingly remembered by his children, Cheryl Wareham (Brad Schilling), grandchildren, Matthew (Brittany Bitternose), Caydan (Rachel Dodds), Ryan Schilling (Janet Burridge); Kevin (Jan) Wareham, grandchildren Lainie Cochrane (Michael), Kale; Trina Wareham, grandchildren Jaici Wiegers (Aaron Hilts), Jorja Wiegers, Chase Wiegers; his sister, Valerie (Pat) Kachor; brother-in-law, Gordon (Loisé) Epp; sister-in-law, Corie Epp (Julian), as well as many other special family members and his amazing coffee row friends that he spent so much time with.
He was predeceased by his wife Gloriana; his father and mother, Bill and Kathleen Wareham; his sister, Bertha; his sister, Shirley; and brother-in-law, Ray Desormeau.
The family would like to express their appreciation to Good Shepherd Villas, the Victoria Hospital and Rose Garden Hospice for the exceptional care that Ben received.
