The family of Barry is saddened to announce the passing of our much-loved husband, father, grandfather, and brother on Thursday January 13, 2022
Barry was raised on the family farm in Tossachs, here he attended Tossachs School until it closed, then attended Yellow Grass School where he met his wife Carolynn. They began their marriage living in a basement suite in Weyburn, before moving to Yellow Grass, where their three children were born. (Wanda, Twila and Barry Jr.)
In 1972 they moved to Uranium City where Barry worked for Eldorado Nuclear. This is where Barry discovered A.A. which he remained an active member of for 46 years. Uranium City is also where he learned to auction and formed Circle M Construction.
In 1980 Barry, Carolynn and their family moved to Swift Current where they purchased an auction business. From there they moved to Big Rover in 1982 where they still reside. Barry worked on the construction of the nursing home and hospital. When completed, Barry became the maintenance man until he retired. After retirement, he worked for Beau “Lac” Funeral Home.
