In Loving Memory of Barbara Gail DeBruin
June 19, 1947 – January 21, 2025
With deep sadness and abiding hope in God’s eternal promise, we announce the passing of Barbara Gail DeBruin on January 21, 2025, in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, at the age of 77.
Barbara was born on June 19, 1947, in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, to George and Mary Boettcher. A woman of unwavering faith, she lived her life with love, grace, and compassion, always placing her trust in the Lord. She touched countless lives with her kind spirit and servant heart, embodying the teachings of Christ in all that she did.
She is lovingly remembered by her companion, John; her daughters, Sherry (Scott Morgan) and Mary Ann (Scott Yost); son-in-law, Scott Crossley; her grandchildren, Jordan (Eric), Brett, Amanda (Lanny), Cole (reanna), Brianna, and Ethan; and her siblings, Sharon (Jim), Janet (Mitch), Russell (Heather), and Fred.
Barbara is reunited in heaven with her beloved husband of 55 years, Art DeBruin; her parents, George and Mary; her daughter, Karen Crossley; her sister, Penny; and her brother, Eric.
A Celebration of Barbara’s Life will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 4:00 PM at the Heritage Centre/Senior Centre, 115-12th Street West, Prince Albert, SK
Barbara’s life was a testimony to God’s love, a reflection of His grace, and a reminder of His promise:
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” – 2 Timothy 4:7
Her memory will remain a source of inspiration, her faith a beacon of light, and her love a comfort to all who knew her. She is now at peace in her heavenly home, forever in the presence of her Savior.
