In Loving Memory of Barbara “Carole” Keays
December 25, 2025
With deep love and profound sadness, the family of Barbara “Carole” Keays announces her peaceful passing on December 25th, 2025. Carole left this world with the same quiet grace, strength, and warmth that defined her entire life.
Born to Hilda and Peter Peterson, Carole grew up surrounded by the values that shaped her into the compassionate, steady, and generous woman her family cherished. She carried her parents’ teachings forward, kindness, resilience, and devotion to family, and lived them every day.
Carole was the beloved mother of four children, each of whom was shaped by her gentle guidance and unwavering support:
Ken (Viki) Keays, Ron (Carol Marquis), Debra (Tom) Belliveau, Gary (Jan) Keays
Her heart grew with every new generation, and she treasured her many grandchildren and great‑grandchildren.
Carole is reunited now with her beloved husband Arthur and her dear son Ken, whose memories she carried close to her heart every day. The thought of her being welcomed by their familiar, loving presence brings her family deep comfort. Their reunion is imagined with warmth, peace, and the joy of being together again, whole, safe, and surrounded by love.
Those who knew Carole will remember her for her gentle humor, her generous spirit, and her remarkable ability to make every person feel valued. She created a home filled with understanding, acceptance, and a love that left a lasting imprint on every life it touched.
Though her passing leaves an ache that words cannot fully express, her family finds solace in the legacy she leaves behind. A legacy of kindness, strength, and devotion that will continue to guide them in the years to come.
May her memory be a blessing, and may she rest in gentle, eternal peace.
She is predeceased by her husband Arthur; son Ken; parents, Peter and Hilda Peterson; brothers, Warren, Calvin and her sister, Joyce. A private service will take place at a later date.
