Arven Norman Njaa passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 19^th, 2021.  Arven was born in Prince Albert, SK on January 28^th, 1933. Arven lived almost all his life around Hagen, SK, except for a few years that he spent in Prince Albert and Saskatoon. On August 12th, 1961, Arven married Marjorie Patterson in the Birch Hills Lutheran Church. They were blessed with three children. Arven worked 10 years for PFRA, most of his time was spent at the Diefenbaker Dam. In 1965, he returned to Hagen where he farmed for the rest of his life.

Arven is survived by his wife of 60 years Marjorie (nee Patterson) Njaa; his sons & daughters-in-law Norman, Kelly & Linda, and Jeff & Barb; his grandchildren Adam Njaa (Jenna Pumfrey), Ryan Njaa, Brett & Krista Njaa, Connor Njaa (Madison Nelson), Kyle Njaa, Breanne Njaa (Kyle Kimbley), Carter Njaa; his great-grandchildren, Mazen, Trigg, & Noah; his sisters Arna Sollid, & Norma Haugrud; as well as numerous nieces & nephews.

Arven was predeceased by his parents Lena & Lars Njaa; his mother & father-in-law Millie & Herb Patterson; his brothers Rudolf and Kenneth Njaa. A funeral will be held on Thursday, December 23^rd, 2021 at Saron Lutheran Church at 2:00 PM in Hagen, SK. Interment will take place at Saron Cemetery following the service.
