Arthur “Art” Leonard Kereluk
Our dear father and grandfather passed away on November 7, 2025, at the age of 66 years. Art was born on March 5, 1959, in Prince Albert, SK, to Daisy and James Kereluk. He was the youngest of 7 siblings, the baby of the family.
He started his career with the City of Prince Albert as a young man and remained there until his retirement in 2016. He was also very involved in the community, working and volunteering at the East Hill Community Club.
In 1988, Art married to Donna Kereluk, and the two went on to raise 4 children, his step-son, Travis John Primeau; his eldest daughter, Daisy Rose Kereluk; his son, Evan Lee Kereluk; and his youngest daughter, Melissa Marie Kereluk.
After his retirement, Art spent a lot of time at his place of pride and joy, at Minowukaw Beach, Candle Lake, SK. That was truly his oasis, where he felt the most comfort and peace. He took great pride in taking care of his place at the lake and always had “lake boxes” ready to go months in advance once lake season was open. He made many dear friends and created lifelong memories at the lake that so many are going to miss. His children’s promise to him as they said goodbye was, “to always take care of his dear lake place”.
Art is survived by his wife, Donna Kereluk; his children, Daisy Kereluk, Evan Kereluk, and Melissa Kereluk; his grandchildren, Kable Potter, Alexis Potter, and Emmy Potter; his siblings, Jim Kereluk and Sheila Vansil; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Art is predeceased by his parents, Daisy and James Kereluk; his step-son, Travis Primeau; and his siblings, Darlene Klien, Doug Kereluk, Ken Kereluk and Leroy Kereluk.
A Celebration of Art’s Life will be held in the summer of 2026 at Minowukaw Beach, Candle Lake. His last wishes were to have his ashes spread at his “place at the lake”. The date of the celebration of life will be announced to his family and friends at a later date.
Dad will be dearly missed and was very loved by so many. Never to be forgotten as we continue to make lasting memories at Dad’s lake place. Rest in Peace, Daddy.
