Arnold and Thelma Neurauter
Married April 19, 1948
Arnold and Thelma took over the family homestead from Carl and Josie Neurauter in 1950 where they raised their 3 children Bob, Ross and Kathy. They enjoyed playing lots of card games with friends and neighbors keeping busy with curling in the winter and planting their large garden yearly in the summers. Arnold and Thelma farmed for 25 years until their son Ross took over the operation. They moved to a nearby farm where Arnold went to work for DTRR around the lakes and Thelma worked at Logan’s Family Store. In 1995, another move was to an apartment in Prince Albert but that never kept them settled, they bought some land at Northside and built a small one-bedroom house. They enjoyed their summers at Northside gardening, helping out at the farm and their winters in Prince Albert. Arnold and Thelma decided to move into Caleb Senior Living Home in 2016 when Thelma began to develop dementia. As her dementia progressed, she moved into Mont St. Joseph care home in January of 2019, followed shortly by Arnold in July of 2019. There they both received excellent care from the wonderful staff.
