Sjogren- Arden O. Sjogren, with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our father, grandfather, brother and kind friend. He was born in Prince Albert, SK to Elis and Jean Sjogren and raised in the Deer Ridge area, a farming community with lots of cousins, friends, good fishing’ and hard work. Ardie’s journey through life sent him chasing gold in the Yukon, working in the oilfields in Alberta, and British Columbia, and back to Saskatchewan where he built roads and homes.  Always with a fishing rod in one and the other extended to help out in your time of need. He settled in the Big River area, happy to be around family and especially happy to see his grandchildren. He enjoyed his friends and the many hunting and fishing trips. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his son Grant (Keri) Sjogren and their children Goldie and Bennett; his daughter Christine (Jarrett) Morin and their children James and Jaylene; his brothers Ron (Brenda), Larry (Cindy), and Denny; his sister Judy (Karl). A Celebration of Ardie’s Life will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday April 20, 2016 in the Deer Ridge Rec Centre. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Beau “Lac” Funeral Home, Shellbrook, SK-  Marianne Turcotte Funeral Director.
