Anne Zdrill, age 93, passed away peacefully in her home in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, on December 17, 2025. She was born December 28, 1931, in Henribourg, Saskatchewan.
Anne spent much of her life in Prince Albert, where she was a devoted member of St. Mark Parish. Her faith was an important part of her life. She took great pride in her home and garden and was well known for her cooking and baking. Her perogies, cabbage rolls, apple turnovers, and homemade buns were family favourites and a lasting expression of her love for those around her.
Anne is survived by her children, Ben (Agnes) Zdrill of Grande Cache, Alberta; Christine (Ian) Harnett of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan; Lawrence (Lori) Zdrill of Edmonton, Alberta; Ron (Esther) Zdrill of Calgary, Alberta; and Donna Cook of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan; her sisters, Jean Giszas of Nanaimo, British Columbia, and Bernice Urbaniak of White Rock, British Columbia; and 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Anne was predeceased by her beloved husband of 51 years, Frank Zdrill; her sons, Alvin Zdrill and Leo Zdrill; her son-in-law, Jim Cook; her grandson, Zach Cook; her brothers, Edward Urbaniak and Henry Urbaniak; and her sisters, Stella Urbaniak and Sophie Skoropat.
The Mass of Christian Burial for Anne will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at St. Mark Parish, in Prince Albert, SK, with Rev. Fr. DJ Vu officiating.
