ANNE ROTH
(nee McClintick)
February 22, 1939 – October 19, 2014
Anne left us on Sunday evening, October 19, 2014 after a long battle with cancer. We said goodbye to Anne very peacefully at the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert with family by her side. Such sadness to bid farewell to such a beautiful person, but she left us with so many fond memories. Anne is survived by her loving family: her husband Abbie from Emma Lake; son Darrell (Diane) Roth of McBride, BC; son Randy (Patty) Roth of Emma Lake; daughter Lori (Lance) Fehr of Emma Lake; grandchildren Adam (Emilia), Matthew, Mark, Michael, Jamie (Patrick), Kalli, Brandi (Darren), Tara (Cory); numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by: her parents Rusty and Ella McClintick; her infant sister Frances McClintick; sister Clistine Fisher. Anne was born in the little town of Hudson Bay Junction. At an early age her family moved to Henribourg and then Prince Albert. After attending business college Anne worked for Eaton’s in Prince Albert and for the old DNR radio station at the Prince Albert airport. After her marriage to Abbie in 1962 they lived in Prince Albert until they moved to Saskatoon where Mum started her life-long love by opening a new and used bookstore. In 1974 with her husband and three children Anne moved to Emma Lake where she ran the bookstore until her retirement just a few years ago. Our heartfelt thanks go out to all the staff of the Royal University Hospital, Saskatoon, and the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert for without their help and kindness things would have been much harder. A Celebration of Mum’s life will be held at her favorite place – Rothenburg Family Park at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 27. It is the family’s request that those wishing to place memorials may do so to the charity of the donor’s choice. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of RIVER PARK MEMORIAL CHAPEL, Prince Albert, 306-764-2727 Donald M. Moriarty, Funeral Director
