Angelique Susan McKenzie was born on Saturday, November 30, 1929, in Grandmother’s Bay, SK, and passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2016, in Grandmother’s Bay, SK, at the age of 86 years. Angelique is survived by her loving family, her children, Rosie Roberts, Roger (Rose) McKenzie, Isaac (Martha) McKenzie, Amy Ballantyne, Jean (Mark) McKenzie, Ida (John) Roberts,  Frank (Emily) McKenzie, Nora (Harry) McKenzie, Peter (Fonita) McKenzie and David (Lorraine) McKenzie, her 52 grandchildren, 76 great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, her sisters, Jeannie Custer, Rosie Cook and Flora Isbister, and her brothers, Colin (Susan) McKenzie, Isaac (Susan) McKenzie and Alex McKenzie, as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, grandchildren and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Patrick McKenzie, one daughter in infancy, her brothers, Elias McKenzie, Johnny McKenzie and William McKenzie, her sisters, Hannah Charles and Matilda Roberts, her step-sisters, Bella Ratt, Elizabeth McKenzie and Jemima Charles, her step-brothers, George McKenzie, Joel McKenzie, Daniel McKenzie and Paul McKenzie, her daughter-in-law, Eliza (Charles) McKenzie, her son-in-law, Edward Ballantyne, her parents, Phillip H. and Sally A. (nee Roberts) McKenzie, and her grandchildren, Patrick Roberts Jr., James Ballantyne, Trudy McKenzie, Samantha McKenzie,  Patrick McKenzie, James McKenzie, Francis McKenzie, Baby Ernest McKenzie and Baby Harry McKenzie. Wake services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2016, at Nihithow Awasis School in Grandmother’s Bay, SK, and at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 21, 2016, at Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Stanley Mission, SK. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 22, 2016, at the   Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Stanley Mission, SK, Reverend Richard Custer and Reverend Elias Ballantyne officiating. Interment will follow at Stanley Mission Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to River Park Memorial Chapel, Prince Albert, SK, Don Moriarty, funeral director, and                Lac La Ronge Funeral Home, La Ronge, SK, Debra Klassen, funeral director.
