With shock and heavy hearts, the family of Angela Dawn Toye (née Michayluk) announce her sudden passing on Thursday, January 16, 2020, at the age of 42 years. Ang was born in Prince Albert, SK, on Wednesday, November 2, 1977, to Darryl and Eva Michayluk. Wife to Chad, mother to Kaelyn, Brielle, Neven and Nash, daughter to Eva, sister to Dorothy and Stu, loved by family and her numerous friends, she left a legacy of love and life that will not be forgotten. Forever with a smile on her face, Ang had an infectious laugh and a wonderful sense of humour.
Not one to ever sit still, Ang lived life to the fullest and truly loved the life she was living with Chad and their family. A devoted wife, supportive and loving mother, and the support system for her mother Eva, Ang was the rock of her family, particularly after the loss of her father, Darryl, in 2011. She was very simply the family manager, a role she cherished and thrived at. Her winters were recently spent taking the kids to soccer, gymnastics, piano, and horse riding. Summers were a time for the lake, particularly at the family cabin at Wakaw Lake, just a few doors down from her Grandpa Bill’s cabin. Like her Grandpa, Ang found the lake to be her escape and she loved hosting many visitors to her retreat. She also enjoyed time at the family condo in Kimberley, BC. It was there that she and Chad, the love of her life, were married on August 6th, 2017, and officially blended their families, Kaelyn, Brielle, Neven, and Nash. The family had enjoyed a ski vacation at the condo this past New Years, and it was a trip she truly enjoyed despite badly breaking her knee. A lifelong Prince Albert resident, Ang attended school at WJ Berezowsky and Vickers Elementary Schools, and Carlton Comprehensive High School, graduating in 1995. She was currently taking classes at the U of S working towards a Master of Finance degree, as she aspired to a senior finance position with the City of Prince Albert as, according to her, “that’s where the money was!” She had so much left to do and yet she accomplished so much in her short time with us. She left us with many happy memories, a wonderful family, and a positive outlook on life that is instilled in her children. As a true people person, Ang enjoyed the company of family and friends and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Angela leaves to mourn her passing; her husband Chad, her children; Kaelyn, Brielle, Neven, and Nash, her mother; Eva Michayluk, her siblings; Dorothy (Darcy) Begrand and their children Haley and Rilyn, Stu (Bronwen Schofield) Michayluk and their children; Gabriel Ciuclea, Bella Michayluk and Tatum Schofield, her sister-in-law; Heather (Scott) Athmer and their children Blaise and Bronwyn, her brother-in-law; Shawn (Allyson) Toye, her father-in-law; Brian Toye, her aunty; Pat Boyko, her uncles; Garnet (Tammy Read) Michayluk, Rob Boyko, Clayton (Luanne) Perry, Jim Perry, Rick (Joanne) Perry, John (Colette Lavallee) Perry, as well as numerous cousins, family and friends.
