Andre  passed away on February 4, 2025, at the Rose Garden Hospice in Prince Albert, SK.  He was born  on June 3, 1942, in St. Louis, SK.    Andre grew up on a family farm southeast of St. Louis.   He attended Glendale School, which was ¼ mile walk west across the field.  He later continued his education in the town of St. Louis.  Farming ran deep in Andre’s veins, and at an early age he managed the farm, which included cattle and grain.

Andre is survived by his siblings, Yvonne Magnin, Prince Albert, Victor (LeeAnn) Tessier, Martensville, Robert (Stella) Tessier, Saskatoon, Lucien (Rita) Tessier, Saskatoon, Emile (Caroline) Tessier, MacDowall, Edward Tessier, St. Louis, numerous  nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Andre was predeceased by his parents, Jean and Jeanne (Parenteau) Tessier; sister in infancy, Gilberte Tessier; brother in-law, Joe Magnin.

A Christian Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at the St. Louis Catholic Cemetery, St. Louis, SK, lunch will follow at the St. Louis Catholic Church Basement Hall, St. Louis, SK.
