WILL- Amelia late of Weirdale, SK. It is with heartfelt sorrow we announce the passing of our wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Amelia passed away surrounded by love, with her family at her side on November 19, 2010 at the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert, SK at the age of 75 years. She was born in Claytonville, SK on February 23, 1935 to William and Amelia Sklar. Amelia was the oldest of three children. Amelia grew up and attended school in the Strong Pine District. Later her family moved to a farm south of Weirdale, where she continued her schooling and graduated from Meath Park High School. In 1954 Amelia married Frank Will and they began farming north of Weirdale. They were blessed with three daughters. Amelia received her Teaching Degree and later her Bachelor of Education from the U of S. She started teaching at David School, moving on to Weirdale School and finishing her 30 year teaching career at Meath Park School. Mom enjoyed teaching. She touched many lives throughout her career. Many of her co-workers became life-long friends. Amelia was always active in her community, volunteering where needed. Her caring and loving nature endeared her to many people. Family and dear friends were so important to Amelia. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the center of her world. She lives on in them. Amelia “Grandma Millie” will be lovingly remembered by her husband Frank; daughters: Sherry (Bruce) Dearing, Karen (Douglas) Sarabin and Beverly (Terry) Hoda; grandchildren: Melanie (Travis) Willie, Jamie (Kevin) Jensen, Brittney Dearing (Regis Hoey), Jill (Steve) Brown, Kristen Sarabin, Lukas Sarabin (Jenna Reid), Brad (Kim) Hoda, Brandy Hoda (Stacey Broom), Brennan (ViJay) Hoda; great grandchildren: Kaleb and Owen Willie, Nate and Rylee Jensen and Julianne and Amelia Brown; sister: Lesia (Marvin) Sachkowski and her family; brother: Gordon (Gerry) Sklar and his family; sisters-in-law: Irene Karl and Eva Will and their families; as well as her devoted cat, Macey. Amelia was predeceased by her parents William and Amelia; infant brother Morris; father and mother-in-law Steve and Elizabeth Will; brother-in-law Art Karl. In Lieu of tributes Memorial Donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 54-11th Street East, Prince Albert, SK S6V 0Z9. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 2:00 pm in Sacred Heart Cathedral, 1401-4th Ave. West, Prince Albert, SK with Rev. Fr. Maurice Fiolleau officiating. Interment Prince Albert Memorial Gardens.
