Alyx Chantal Johnson (nee Poirier) was born on Friday, August 25, 1978, in Moosomin, Saskatchewan, and passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2016, in La Ronge, Saskatchewan, at the age of 37 years. Alyx is survived by her loving family, her husband, Terence Johnson of Air Ronge, SK, her mother, Sheila Dobson of Moosomin, SK, her father, Jean-Nil Poirier of L’Ange-Gardien, QC, her sisters, Ashly (Mike) Wagner of Meadow Lake, SK, and their children, Cadence and Callie, and Annique (Cole Jacobs) Poirier of Whitewood, SK, her mother-in-law, Eileen Johnson of La Ronge, SK, her sister-in-law, Michelle Johnson of La Ronge, SK, and her children, Taryn and Kree, and her grandparents, Vincent and Dorothy Dobson of Moosomin, SK, and Isabel Ratt of La Ronge, SK, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her father-in-law, Clarence Johnson, her nephew (in infancy), Carson Cole Jacobs, her grandmaman, Marie-Laure Blouin, her grandpapa, Georges Poirier, and her aunt, Danielle Poirier. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m., on Thursday, January 14, 2016, at the La Ronge Lutheran Fellowship. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, January 15, 2016, at the La Ronge Lutheran Fellowship, Pastor Cody Cooper officiating.
