Aloysius “Al” Subchyshyn 

August 12, 1938 – November 10, 2018

With sadness, the family of Al Subchyshyn announce his passing on Saturday, November 10, 2018 surrounded by loved ones at the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert, SK.

Al was born to parents Peter and Stephanie Subchyshyn on August 12, 1938. 

He leaves to mourn his passing, his loving wife Rhona, his daughter Joanne (Tom) Halyk, his son Mitchell (Leigh-Anne) Subchyshyn and daughter Rachel Subchyshyn and her husband Scott Norbury, his grand-daughters Caitlyn (Kyle) Georget, Jamie Subchyshyn (partner Nick Glister), and his great-granddaughter Ella Georget. Brother-in-law Barry (Isla) Wilcox, Nephew Taylor Wilcox, Niece, Ysanne Wilcox, and Niece, Alexis Wilcox.

He is predeceased by his parents Peter and Stephanie Subchyshyn, and parents-in-law Ted and Connie Wilcox.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Mark Halyk, and the medical team at the Ambulatory and Palliative Care Units at Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert for their care and support of Al throughout his lengthy illness.

There will be an informal memorial service held for Al at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at The Prince Albert Elk’s Club, 93 8th Avenue East, Prince Albert, SK. There will be a luncheon directly following the service.
