Aline Marie Rabut (née Guillet) It is with deep sadness that the family announces the sudden and peaceful passing of Aline Marie Rabut (née Guillet), who passed away on July 9, 2026, in Prince Albert, SK, at the age of 69.
Aline was born on June 19, 1957, in Wakaw, SK. She was raised in Domremy, SK, where she attended school and formed many lifelong friendships and cherished memories. She later made her home in Prince Albert, where she built a life centered on family, friendship, and love.
Aline is lovingly remembered by her fiancé, Joe Brassard; her children, Tammy Rabut (Adam Glarvin), Leanne Rabut, and Darcy Rabut; her cherished grandchildren, Alyssa Rabut-Chovin, Katherine Stanger, Elizabeth Glarvin, Evan Blais (Emina Morava), Adrien Blais, and Jayden Rabut; her beloved great-granddaughters, Sofia and Lily Blais; her siblings, Carol Hoffensetz, Rita (Arsene) Billo, Victor Guillet, and Denise (Gille) Boutin; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, godchildren, godmother, extended family members, and many dear friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, Gilbert and Thérèse Guillet; her godparent, Archie Lepine; her brother-in-law, Arne Hoffensetz; and her special friend, Gilbert Vermette.
Aline’s greatest joy was the people she loved. She cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-granddaughters, and nothing made her happier than creating memories with her family. She also shared many wonderful adventures with her beloved fiancé, Joe, whether it was a spur-of-the-moment drive to Waskesiu Lake or a getaway to Las Vegas. Aline enjoyed life’s simple pleasures tending to her flowers, collecting unicorns, surrounding herself with the color purple, and making sure there were always treats on hand to share with family and friends.
Aline spent many years serving her community as a bank teller with CIBC, where she built lasting relationships before retiring. Retirement didn’t slow her down for long, and she later worked at Money Mart and the casino, enjoying the friendships she made along the way. These simple things, along with her generous heart, quick smile, and love of laughter, are what her family and friends will remember most.
A Prayer Service will be held on Thursday, July 16th, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass celebrating Aline’s life will be held on Friday, July 17th, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Both services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Parish 260 – 25th St. East, Prince Albert, SK.
