Alice Dreaver

1946-2025
Alice Dreaver passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 3, 2025, in Shellbrook, SK at the age of 78 years. She was born on February 2, 1946, at Big River First Nation to Ida and John Whitefish.

The Wake Service for Alice will be commencing on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. from the Big River First Nation Band Hall.  Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM. on Monday, January 6, 2025, also taking place at the Big River First Nation Band Hall. Interment will follow in the Whitefish Anglican Cemetery, Big River First Nation, SK.

Alice is lovingly survived by her children, Michael (Lorette Denise) Dreaver of Big River First Nation and their children, Brent (Sheryl) Lachance, Michelle (Ryan) Lachance, Chelsey Lachance, and Mike (Jessica) Lachance; Denise (Jan) Dreaver of Sturgeon Lake, SK; Harold (Desiraee) Dreaver and children, Terra DReaver, Cole Bird, Leanne Dreaver, and Danielle Knife. Alice is also survived by her siblings, Florence Whitefish and Margaret Bear.

Alice is predeceased by her common-law partner, Russel Fox; her parents, Ida Rabbitskin & John Whitefish; her children, Adrian Dreaver, Larry Dreaver; a brother and sister in infancy; her sisters, Gloria, Mary & Annie; her brothers, Leo, Roger, Frank, Andrew, and Jimmy.
