It is with deep sorrow that we must announce the passing of our dear husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather on Friday, October 19, 2012. Alex was born in Prince Albert to Tom and Beatrice (nee Panas) Stacey, the 8th of 9 children. He lived in Honeymoon and later relocated to the Weirdale area. Alex left home at the age of 16 to go into the work force, then returning home when his father passed away. In 1950 he met Mary Pryszlak, they were married in 1951 and raised two children. In 1957 he decided to leave farming and go back into the work force working various jobs. In 1972 he was hired as a heavy duty mechanic at the Pulp Mill and stayed there until he retired in 1991.
