Alex Peter McKenzie “Big Al” “Grandpa” was born on Monday, March 26, 1951, in Grandmother’s Bay, SK, and passed away on Friday, November 22, 2019, in Stanley Mission, SK, at the age of 68 years. Alex is survived by his loving family, his son, John John (Maggie) McKenzie; his step-children, Angie Davies, Eddie McKenzie; his adopted son, Ryan (Kelsey) Davies; his grandchildren, Maisie (Skyler), Summer, Ernest, Brittany, Henry, Rene, Evan, Betty, Damian; his great-grandchildren, Taylor, Ariel, Jett, Gemma; his special goddaughter, Samantha Isbister; his bro, Treyton Puobi; his sisters, Flora Isbister, Rosie Roberts; his brothers, Colin (Susan) McKenzie, Isaac McKenzie; his sisters-in-law, Annie McKenzie, Bella McKenzie, Jemima Charles, Lillian Charles, Caroline Charles, Martha McKenzie, Shirley McLeod, Phyllis McLeod; his brothers-in-law, Charlie McKenzie, Robert McKenzie, Calvin McKenzie; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. The Wake Service for Alex will be held at 6:00 p.m., on Monday, November 25, 2019, at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, in Stanley Mission, SK; the Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, in Stanley Mission, SK, Reverend Richard Custer officiating.
