Albert Vols, beloved husband of Doris Vols, passed away with his family by his side. Albert was born in Viscount SK. He worked on the family farm before working at Cory Potash Mine. He moved to Prince Albert in 1958 and worked for the DNR building roads and highways into northern Saskatchewan. Wanting to be closer to family, he worked at Burns, then the Prince Albert Correctional Institute. He worked with inmates in the gardening area which was one of his favorite areas. Later in life, Albert was known for his gardening skills and many were recipients of the beautiful tomatoes, cucumbers, cherries and Saskatoon’s that he grew. He went on to work for the Prince Albert School Board before retiring to his farm to raise cattle and hogs. The farm was a treasure to many school students and groups as they came to see the variety of animals including, cattle, sheep, goats, horses, ducks, geese and turkeys. Albert is survived by his wife Doris; children Christine, Bruce (Pam), Margaret (Sean), Virginia; his grandsons Mason and Brayden Vols, Jonas Clarke; his great grandson Everett and his brothers George and Leon.
