Agnes Linea Stene
October 23, 1918 – April 24, 2013

It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great grandmother Agnes Linea Stene on April 24, 1913. Agnes was born in Canwood on October 23, 1918 to John and Emma Engstrom. She married Victor Stene on February 16, 1940 and they had three children Warner, Garnet and Margaret. They had a very happy life together until Victor’s passing in August 1980. Agnes is survived by her two children Garnet (Ida) Stene and Margaret (Mervin) Roode; one daughter-in-law Linda Stene; eight grandchildren: Bryan, Kim, Blaine, Marlene, Laurie, Lyle, Tanya and Angie; as well as numerous great grandchildren and one brother Lloyd Engstrom. She was predeceased by her husband Victor in 1980; her son Warner in 2003; her siblings Eldon, Florence and Evelyn and numerous sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 29, 2013 at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK with Celebrant Val Bodnaryk. Interment will be held at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.
