April 17, 1928 – March 29, 2014
Agnes Czarnota (nee Agnieszka Marciniak) was born in Aleksandrow, Poland April 17, 1928. She passed away in her sleep March 29th at St. Ann's Senior Citizen's Village. Agnes was predeceased by her husband, Stanley; parents, Wawrzyn and Franciszka; brothers, Stanley and Joseph; and sister, Helen. She is survived by her sister Cecile; two sons, Henry (Colleen) and Joseph (Dorothy); six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Agnes and Stan immigrated to Canada in 1954. She worked as a nurses aid at Mont St. Joseph's senior's residence in Prince Albert until her retirement. Agnes will be remembered for her love of family, her passion for gardening and her big heart. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 4th at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel at St. Ann's Home (2910 Louise St, Saskatoon). The Rite of Committal will take place on Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Ann's Senior Citizen's Village.
