Adeline Cora Thompson (need Hunt)
October 25, 1945- December 25, 2025
Adeline was born in Porcupine Plain, SK., the third of 4 children. She lost her dad at a young age and the family left the farm for Prince Albert. She spent most of her life in Prince Albert where she married and had 3 children. She worked at the Victoria Union Hospital in the kitchen until her retirement in 1986. In 1987 she met and married her second husband and moved to Edmonton, AB. Adeline came back to Prince Albert in 2007 to live out her days among family and friends. She passed away peacefully at Mont Saint Joseph’s on Christmas Day after a long struggle with dementia.

Adeline will be joining her husband Jim Thompson daughter Leah Polowski, sister Joan Klamot, brother Harlan Hunt, brother Earl Hunt, nephew Kal Hunt, niece Bonnie Klamot, nephew Randy Klamot.
Adeline is survived by her son Brent Polowski (Susan), daughter Tamara Goebel (Russ), grandchildren Justin Polowski, Alison Read (Marcus), Nathan Sagardia (Breanne), Samantha Gravel (Adam), Leah Clark (Brayden), Reaghan Goebel. Many cousins, nephews, nieces and great-grandchildren.
To celebrate Adeline’s life, a service will be held in Prince Albert, a date to be determined in the spring.
Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Mont Saint Joseph’s Care home.
