Adam is lovingly remembered by his family; his daughters, Margaret Descalchuk, Joan (Thomas) Custer, Joyce Jobb, Victoria (Clifford) Ballantyne, Georgina (Ronnie) Highway, Marlene (Russell) Powder, Karen (Steve) Highway, Isabelle (Phillip) Bighetty, Vivian Highway, Margie (Floyd) Highway, Elizabeth (Larry) Custer, Madeline Merasty, Marcella Highway; his sons, Harold Highway, Ivan Highway, Adam Jr. Highway, Bobby and Terry Custer, Darren (Gloria) Highway, Calvin (Debra Sewap) Highway; his grandchildren, Ninety; his great-grandchildren, Two hundred and twenty-two; his great-great chapans, Seventy-nine.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Annie (nee Ballantyne) Highway; his second wife, Marie (nee Iroquois) Highway; his in-laws, Jeannie Morin-Iroquois (nee Custer), Joseph Iroquois; his parents, Joe Highway and Josephine Highway; his grandsons, Elmer, Glen Jobb and Phillip Nighttraveller, Gavin Highway, Peanut Highway; his granddaughters, Candace Roberts and Crystal Nighttraveller, Monica Custer, Crystal Custer; his children, Delphina Highway, Norman Custer, Horace Highway, Two in infancy; his brothers ~ Phillip (Jemima) Highway, Baptist Highway, Joe (Palagi) Highway, William (Maggie) Highway, Eli (Marie) Highway; his sisters, Anne (Arthur) McCallum, Margaret (Don) Michel and Rosalie (Phillip) Merasty, Margaret and Joe Morin, Bernedette and Edward Ballantyne.
