Adam Gobeil

1984 – 2015
Adam Ronald Gobeil was born in Prince Albert on March 14, 1984, and passed away in Saskatoon. He was raised in a loving family until tragedy struck with the deaths of his mother in 1997, and his brother two months later. As a youth, he came to live with his Aunt Susan Stabner in La Ronge where he was a devoted son. Adam finished his education in La Ronge and took a course in geology training there. After receiving his certificate, he worked at McLean Lake for AREVA, and later at Cigar Lake with Cameco. He became an underground miner in the last year at Cigar Lake. Adam enjoyed traveling, and just returned from Japan. He loved the water and snowboarding with his father and friends. He was always a friend to everyone until the end. Adam is survived by his father Ron Gobeil; his very special aunt Susan; his special brothers/cousins Matt, Nathan, Nigel, Ryan and Tyson; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother Barbara Gobeil; his brother Daniel Gobeil; his grandparents Edward and Marjorie Stabner, and Dan and Agnes Gobeil. A visitation for family and friends will be held at 7:00 pm, Monday, September 7 at River Park Memorial Chapel. Interment will take place at 12:30 pm, Tuesday, September 8, and the funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm from the Weldon Christian Tabernacle, Weldon, SK.
