A SOLDIER DIED TODAY- RAYMON SMITH

Raymon Smith of Bellevue, SK and formerly of Prince Albert, SK passed away peacefully at the Victoria Hospital on Monday, October 4, 2010 at the age of 90 years. After having served in World War II. Ray became a successful Brew Master with Carling O’Keefe. He leaves to mourn his passing eleven children; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; two brothers; one sister; numerous nieces, nephews and friends and especially his very special Royal Canadian Legion family. Raymon was born on July 31, 1920 in Haldimand, ON. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 8 from River Park Memorial Chapel. Interment will take place in the Garden of Sermon on the Mount, Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. It is the family’s request that those wishing to place memorials may do so to the Royal Canadian Legion, Prince Albert Branch # 2.
