“When buying new homes or property, anyone can be intimated when they’re buying a home, there are a number of large documents that can be overwhelming and confusing, particularly to a first time buyer.”

Lavoie strives to ensure the process is as clear as possible when it comes to buying or selling homes. He takes the time to sit down and go through every legal document involved in the process so there are no surprises down the road. Lavoie Stonechild Law office ensures that when you become a client you have an opportunity to meet with a lawyer, when discussing your purchase and sale.

Lavoie says “as we don’t always know what kind of advice has been provided to my clients in the past, we always want to make sure that our clients understand exactly what they are getting into, before purchasing or selling a property.”

Ryan Lavoie had advised that he also shares in the excitement with his clients in relation to new purchases, Lavoie said. “Many times we have dealt with a new purchaser, who is usually very excited… it’s a big step in someone’s life, and may be the biggest financial event they will ever take on.  To be included in this step I take great pleasure, and a big responsibility.”

Lavoie Stonechild have also attempted to create a client-centric environment so that their clients are comfortable and not intimidated by the process.

“When we started this firm we had a general mentality about how we wanted to treat our clients,” Lavoie said. “We wanted to be a very family focused type environment. When you come to us, you are a client, but we’re also looking at the client as a community member, a neighbor and in a sense part of our larger family. We don’t just look at it as a real estate file.”

Once a client of Lavoie Stonechild Law they try to make talking with a lawyer as easy as possible. Lavoie said he hopes to build an ongoing relationship with his clients that doesn’t end at the final stages of a real estate transaction.
