In bedroom furniture you can choose size and style of bed, size of night tables and sizes of dressers…you can also choose a specific wood and stain. Chairs and bar stools are customizable with color, fabric and height. They can even purchase off the floor if we have what they want” said Darryl. With over 30 different dining sets and over 25 bedroom suites on display at all times, the selection is excellent. They also carry a large selection of bookcases, pantries, desks and pieces for the living room like coffee and end tables and entertainment units.

The quality of their product is what sets them apart and made them repeat BOB Award winners in the categories of ‘Best Furniture’ and ‘Best Home Décor.’

“We’re known for our solid wood and Canadian made furniture,” said Darryl. “We like to support the Canadian economy.  The quality is far superior compared to imported items.”  You can tell too. When you walk through the doors it smells of real wood and not a blast of formaldehyde.

Laurie added, “Many Canadian suppliers now spray with water based lacquers instead of chemicals. You can refinish wood products after years of use and little assembly, if needed, is required.”

One of their most popular pieces of furniture is the ‘Cabinet Bed’. It is made of solid birch and birch plywood and comes with a soy based foam mattress that has a gel infused memory foam on top of it.

“It is half the price of what a Murphy Bed would cost you and it can be moved from one room to another.  It looks like a nice piece of furniture and can hold a 60“ TV on top of it and it opens to a bed and closes within 30 seconds,” said Laurie.  And if you sell your home, you can take it with you.

With over 50 years combined experience between them, Laurie and Darryl have a way of making things look nice. They carry a wide variety of pictures, lamps, mirrors and accessories to help complete any room.

“You can buy your bedroom suite, bedding, lamps and accessories and you can do the whole shop in one stop. It is the same thing with your dining room here,” said Laurie.
