You spend about a third of your life in your bed, so choosing the right mattress should be one of the most important decisions you make.

“Our biggest advice…spend what you can afford and get the best you can,” said Darryl Nyirfa, owner of Country Comfort Bedrooms and Fine Furniture. “It directly affects the well being of your health every single day of your life.”

Darryl and his wife Laurie have a combined 50 years of experience selling mattresses. They also carry a huge selection of bedding, sheets, comforters, mattress pads and a selection of pillows that would rival any store in North America.”

There are as many as 35 mattresses on the floor at any given time at Country Comfort Bedrooms & Fine Furniture.

“We are not commission sales people. So, we’re giving you the best product we possibly can and not a particular model just because of a sales incentive,” Laurie said.

Whether its firmness, softness or what is best for a combined couple, Country Comfort Bedrooms & Fine Furniture help their customers identify exactly what they need.

“We offer mattresses from Magniflex that have two different cores on the inside… so one side is firmer and the other side is softer,” Laurie said.

Country Comfort Bedrooms and Fine Furniture also carries a number of electric beds that have options of memory foam or pocket coil mattresses. At any given time, there are about 35 mattress sets on their floor from starter options for college students to higher end luxury mattresses from Kingsdown, Therapedic, Natural Rest, Mlily and the European brand Magniflex.

Country Comfort Bedrooms & Fine Furniture carries a wide selection of bedsheets and pillows sure to rival any store in North America.

“Magniflex and Mlily have soy based products. So, they don’t have that strong smell of polyurethane. Its clean and there is no gas coming off it. It is environmentally friendly and not heat sensitive and there are lots of other benefits to it,” Laurie said.

Darryl suggests changing a mattress every 10 years, no matter the quality.

He said, “It has 50 lbs of dead skin accumulated over the course of a decade with two people sleeping in it.”
