Best Auto Body Shop : P.A. Auto Body Ltd.

P.A. Auto Body Ltd. has again been voted the best auto collision repair centre in Prince Albert. With a staff of 13 people including six journeyman mechanics and two apprentices they are the largest auto body shop in northern Saskatchewan.

“In our industry everyone does the same thing we all fix cars and repair cars and paint cars, stuff like that, but the advantage we have on our competition is the size of our staff, our management system, and our parts arrival and delivery system,” said Shane Goller, owner operator of P.A. Auto Body Ltd..

Goller said they track the amount of time it takes to repair each vehicle that is brought into their shop. He said they have developed a system at their repair centre that ensures each vehicle will be repaired quickly, efficiently and sooner than any other auto body in the city.

“The average claim in Saskatchewan takes nine days and our average is just under six days,” said Goller.

“So our performance level is higher than anybody else. When you bring your vehicle to us you are going to get your appointment within five business days, you are gong to be informed about your repairs and the process of those repairs and your vehicle is going to be returned to you sooner.”

Goller said if for some reason a vehicle at their shop does seem to be taking longer than normal to repair they will track the source of the issue and resolve it sooner then later.

“We cycle more cars through and we get your cars done sooner because we are not waiting and we are not going to tell you we have a three-week backlog, which is the case at a lot of other shops,” said Goller.

“So our management system and our procedures we have in place allow us to get your car in the shop sooner and back to you in less time.”

Not only is P.A. Auto body Ltd. the fastest but they are also experts in paintless dent repair. P.A. Auto Body Ltd. is the only Auto Body repair centre in town that has a technician on staff that specializes in the process.

Paintless dent repair is the process of removing dents, creases, and hail damage without the expense of refinishing the panel in which the dent is located.

Goller said their paintless dent technician has over 12 years experience. He said at their shop they specialize in two separate methods of performing the repair. Two years ago they purchased a new paintless dent system that allows their technician to repair the dent from the outside of the vehicle as well as from within, which for a while was the only method available.

“So if we get a vehicle where you can’t get access from the back we can still paintless dent repair that,” said Goller.

“We can fix some dents that surprise even us the odd time,” he added.

Goller said the staff at P.A. Auto Body Ltd. understand what an inconvenience it is to their clients to lose access to their vehicle while they wait for it to be repaired.

“When you are without your car due to an accident we are not going to book your car in just to get it in and have it sit for two or three days,” said Goller. “Your car is going to come in and the repairs are going to start right away.”
