Students throw pies in school staff faces for good causes

Administrators at Ecole St. Mary High School got pied Thursday afternoon.

The school’s principal and two vice principals got pied after students raised over $1,000 for the Terry Fox Foundation over the past few weeks.

P.A. and District Chamber of Commerce welcomes new faces

The Prince Albert and District Chamber of Commerce held its annual general meeting on Wednesday.

At the AGM discussions included the organization's financial statements from the previous year, along with swearing in the new board of directors.

Police target driving offences over long weekend

Over the long weekend people may have noticed more of a police presence on the road.

The increased enforcement was part of Operation Impact, which ran from Oct. 5 to 8. The operation targets drivers who may be driving impaired or committing other driving offenses.

Prince Albert Fire Department set to host open house and mark Fire Prevention Week

Fire departments across North America are marking Fire Prevention Week.

This year, the week runs from October 7 to 13. The Prince Albert Fire Department is looking to use the week to reach out to the community.
