Trailer catches on fire after collision near Martensville

Martensville Mounties continue to investigate a two vehicle collision that happened around 12:35 p.m. today.

The incident happened at the intersection of Highways 12 and 305 where a camper unit clipped the rear trailer of a dual-trailer semi.

The camper unit ended up catching on fire after falling on its side. A passerby helped the driver of the camper unit to safety. The driver sustained minor injuries.

While the fire was extinguished, the intersection was closed briefly. It is now open.
