Sports year in review: Klughart wins Lobstick and May Day’s

As 2017 draws to a close, paNOW is taking a look back on the biggest sports achievements of the year, selected by our sports reporter Jeff D’Andrea.


Prince Albert’s Danny Klughart winning two big Saskatchewan tournaments this year gives him a spot in paNOW’s Top 10 Sports Stories of 2017.

Klughart won the 2017 Conexus Men’s Lobstick match play tournament in Waskesiu, his second Lobstick title of his career. Klughart also won the May Day Masters as his hometown club of Cooke Municipal Golf Course to kick off the season.
