The Prince Albert A&W Bears got three points out of a possible four in this weekend in a wild two game home stand against the Notre Dame Hounds.

After winning Friday’s OK Corral shootout 8-6, the Bears lost in overtime 4-3 Saturday.
Kelly Regnier had six points in Friday’s game, three goals and three assists. Carlee Hrenkiw and Kaitlin Willoughby had four points, one goal and three assists each. Lexi Van Camp had two goals.

The Bears showed a lot of character in Saturday’s game, as they entered the third period down 2-0 but scored three goals in a row to take the lead 3-2 and get back in the game. Hrenkiw had two of those goals and Van Camp the other.

But the Hounds tied the game, thanks to a nice backhand move by Olivia Howe, her second goal and third point of the night, sending the game to overtime.
Miranda Siefert scored the overtime winner, jumping on a loose puck in the crease.
