Pedestrian struck update

A man who was hit by a vehicle east of Prince Albert Monday night remains in hospital.
The incident happened near the old Pulp mill site shortly after 8 p.m.
Police say it appears the man from Sandy Bay was standing on the road surface when he was hit by an eastbound vehicle.
The 38-year-old man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
According to police, the 27-year-old driver that hit the man got out to help him and diverted traffic until paramedics arrived.
