Bexson to be named chamber chair
The Prince Albert and District Chamber of Commerce will see a new chairman at the helm by Wednesday.
At tonight’s chamber dinner, Rawlco Radio's Joe Bexson will become the new chairman.
“I’m excited to move forward with this,” he said.
“We just look forward to building and being a strong chamber going forward.”
The chamber has around 500 members, which is good for a community of this size, he said.
As the chamber moves forward, Bexson said a young group in place will be beneficial for the organization.
“So with those staff members we are looking to keep enthusiasm in the chamber and bring a fresh approach to things and continue to build the strength of business in the Prince Albert community,” he said.
“I think if we can reach out to younger business entrepreneur and get some of the older ones lending a hand with those, it will just build a stronger business community all around.”
Bexson is taking over the chair position from Krista Eggum.
The Chamber Chairman’s Dinner will be held in the cafeteria at SIAST at 6 p.m.
