PAGC elects new vice chief
The Prince Albert Grand Council has a new vice chief.
With a tally of 123 votes to 89, along with two spoiled ballots, Brian Hardlotte beat out Edward Henderson, who has been vice chief for the past six years.
“I have no hard feelings. It doesn’t matter at the end of the day who the grand chief is, who the vice chief is, or who are the councilors. When it’s all said and done, we have to stay united and continue working on the issues that are in the forefront. I’m sure Brian will do a good job,” said Henderson.
Hardlotte was a member of Lac La Ronge's band council, and feels he's ready to take on the challenge as Vice Chief.
