Poppyless Prince Albert

If you haven’t been able to buy a poppy it’s probably because they are none.
The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command has confirmed that much of the province is out of the symbolic red flower.
More than a week ago the legion branch in Prince Albert had to order more poppies to meet the demand. Saskatoon is in the same boat. According to the Saskatchewan Command Regina has now run out as well.
More poppies have been ordered from the head office in Ontario, but because they are dealing with such a high demand, filling the orders has been a little slow.
An employee from the Saskatchewan Command says they are monitoring the shipments closely and Prince Albert could be receiving their order today.
