The Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation is warning Saskatchewan drivers to slow down and take extra precaution on the highways.
According to Darrell Crabbe, executive director of SWF, deer are heading into mating season, which means a much higher chance of wildlife related accidents.
The SWF are launching the second phase of their annual public safety campaign.
“Our two campaigns are Slow Down and Save a Little Doe and Slow Down and Save a Buck. Our major objective is to ensure that people using Saskatchewan roads get home safe,” Crabbe said.
