Hammer-wielding man robs Saskatoon restaurant
Dec 27, 2010 | 7:19 AM
It's not a robber's usual weapon of choice, but it worked for one man in Saskatoon.
Police say the man was armed with a hammer when he robbed a restaurant on the 1200 block of Idylwyld Drive North at about 4:16 a.m. Monday.
He threatened the staff and made off with a small amount of cash. No one was hurt.
Police say the suspect wore a black jacket, a black toque, and covered his face with a black neck warmer.
No arrests have been made.
