One of the highlights of Crop Production Week will be hearing Drew Lerner of World Weather Inc. out of Topeka, Kansas. His weather forecasts have gained quite a following in Western Canada.

On Monday afternoon at the SaskFlax meeting, Drew Lerner will address the world weather outlook for flax. On Wednesday evening at the Crop Production Week Special Session Drew will speak on the weather outlook for 2011.

Rather ironically, World Weather Inc. has just issued a 7-day winter weather forecast which calls for some very winter-like conditions for Crop Production Week.

The forecast says a low pressure system will intensify and move across Alberta this afternoon through Saturday evening producing considerable snowfall.
