The flu virus that caused last year's pandmeic has pushed it's way back into Saskatchewan.

Earlier this month, Ontario and Manitoba had recorded a number cases of the H1N1 flu virus.

Friday, Saskatchewan's Ministry of Health alerted the media to its first case, a young adult in the Regina Qu'Appelle Health Region.

The patient is said to be doing well and did not require hospitalization. This winter, flu sufferers are most commonly battling the seasonal strain. This year's flu shot protects against both that strain and H1N1.
